The Opportunity
Our Link Out Program provides Intensive Transitional
Support for men exiting Victorian prisons. We are seeking
an experienced Case Manager to work independently in identifying
and delivering transitional support to clients with diverse and
complex needs across the North-Western Metro Region within a new
service delivery model. A key component of the role
is working closely with Melbourne Prisons, and other key
stakeholders such as the Adult Parole Board, housing bodies,
drug and alcohol agencies to best represent the client's
interests. The role also provides support and leadership
across the Link Out Team.
The successful candidate will have:
-
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology,
Human Services or other relevant fields;
-
Knowledge of the Victorian Correctional System and a
willingness to work in correctional facilities;
-
Experience with clients who have complex
needs/mental health issues;
-
Experience in leading and supporting others;
-
Strong relationship building and communication
skills;
-
A structured and organised approach to tasks; and
-
A current Drivers Licence.
You will be required to undergo a current Police
Records Check and a Working with Children Check.
This position is full time (76 hours per fortnight)
paid at the SACS Award Class 3, Year dependent on experience, 9%
superannuation, and generous salary packaging.

Reception and Administration
Assistant
The
Opportunity
We are seeking an
experienced Receptionist and Administrator with a friendly and
co-operative manner to respond to enquiries in a timely manner,
welcome visitors, and provide general administrative support to
the CEO and VACRO managers in areas such as scheduling
appointments, preparing documentation, managing fleet vehicle
bookings, file management.
The
successful candidate
-
Good administrative
skills and a professional telephone manner;
-
Strong written and
spoken communication skills;
-
A friendly customer
oriented manner both internally and externally;
-
Able to interact
appropriately with clients who have an offending background
-
Sound organisational
skills AND the flexibility to accommodate change;
-
Able to work
independently within a team environment;

Experience with
database systems, intranet, internet, and the MS Office
Suite;
-
Some knowledge of
social disadvantage and the justice system; and
-
Willingness to undergo
a Police Records Check.
