Justice System Services
ReCreate - Healthy Choices
ReCreate is a health and wellbeing project funded by the
Department of Health and Ageing. ReCreate is running from
March 2009 to May 2010 and is designed to address some of
the barriers to better health faced by men and women who
have come into contact with the Justice System and their
families.
Our role is to provide information and referral into a
variety of health, fitness and recreational services, to
develop healthy eating resources and to foster information
sharing by collaborating with other health professionals.
The project has also developed a bicycle workshop running in
the city of Yarra.
