Who we are

For 148 years, VACRO has walked alongside some of the most marginalised and disadvantaged members of our society.

We support people in contact with the criminal justice system and their families to safely and successfully re-join their communities. Founded in 1872, we're Victoria's oldest and only specialist criminal justice reintegration service.

We believe everyone has a role to play in supporting a person returning from prison. Together, we can provide hope and support for people’s new beginnings, and strengthen communities for everyone’s benefit.
