Lisa Ward is the deputy chair of the Sentencing Advisory Council of Victoria and an independent advisor to the Victorian Youth Justice Reform Project. She brings extensive experience in corrections, youth justice, child protection and family support to Vacro's board.

Ms Ward has operated a niche human services consultancy business for more than 20 years. She has been instrumental in developing transitional support services for people exiting prison and is a strong advocate for gender-responsive approaches to women in the criminal justice system. Ms Ward has served on the Adult Parole Board of Victoria, the Women’s Correctional Advisory Council of Victoria, and the Child Death Review Committee of Victoria.
