  • Utilise your skills and experience to build collaborative working relationships with external housing-related stakeholders to improve outcomes for clients experiencing homelessness.
  • Full-time role until 30 June 2022 involving regular travel in the Geelong and Ballarat districts as well as to our friendly Melbourne CBD office (car provided).

The opportunity

VACRO is seeking a highly motivated individual with a sound background in working within the private real estate and/or public housing and homelessness sector. Utilise your understanding of this sector as well as your strong communication skills to develop relationships with external housing-related stakeholders, with a strong focus on building a network of collaborative real estate agents.

These network connections will facilitate referrals and improve outcomes for forensic clients who require housing. Working collaboratively with the ReConnect Program Manager, you will also mentor our passionate outreach team, focusing on building their understanding of how to navigate and best work within the sector.


Key selection criteria
  • Solid experience working with networks within the private real estate and/or public housing and homelessness sector.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Peer support, mentoring or coaching experience.
  • Experience working with complex clients, particularly those who have experienced homelessness, is highly regarded.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the complex issues relating to individuals who have been in contact with the criminal justice system, particularly those who have been incarcerated, is highly regarded.
