With a background in psychology and social work, Angela is passionate about supporting people in the social justice space.  Angela has extensive experience, ranging from case management of young people involved in the criminal justice system, to disability and student advocacy, settlement support for refugees, and providing family services support including to parents with a disability.

In her role with our Family Visits program, Angela supports participants in our Family Visits Program to cultivate positive, pro-social relationships with their family (including children), to ease the pressures of returning home. Of working at Vacro, Angela says, “I’m really impressed with how team members are valued and there’s a really high ethical bar at Vacro.”

To keep herself in a well-resourced state, Angela enjoys music, dancing, and travelling. One of Angela’s most memorable experiences is having travelled to Guangzho in the time before that part of China opened to the wider world. Next on Angela’s travel bucket list is to trek the Kumano Kudo route in Japan.
