Families come in all shapes and sizes. While at Beechworth, Anthony was referred to SKaF because of his commitment to being a good role model and father to his stepsons.

While in the program, Anthony spoke of the considerable trauma that each family member had experienced because of his behaviours. He understood his relationship with his partner needed to be strong and united to hold the family together and to avoid future trauma.

With our SKaF team, Anthony and his partner were able to understand how to take responsibility for their own mental health and wellbeing, while also being supportive of one another's challenges.

Through supported conversations about their expectations of one another, the household and Anthony's pending transition home, meant that they had a safe space to voice their fears, hurts, and hopes.
